This spacious room is upstairs and at the back of the house, making it the most reclusive room in the house. Southern light pours into the room. You have an easy view of the Capitol Dome, which is only blocks away.
Ah, the luxury of organic cotton sheets! We use Coyuchi's sheets with all thread counts over 250. In winter, you'll have flannel. In summer either sateen or damask. On either side of the bed there's a wicker night stand stocked with reading materials, tissues, massage lotion, etc. You have your choice of feather, foam or wool filled pillows, too!
Our organic cotton comforters are filled with pure wool and made locally by Holy Lamb Organics.

You might sit in these wicker chairs and have your morning coffee and newspaper. There's wireless internet throughout the house in case you do need to stay in touch with the outside world. We have a twin size foam mattress available in case you have a small child you'd like to have sleeping in your room with you. You can see, there is plenty of room for one more. We charge $20 more for children to cover their food and laundry, unless they are small enough to sleep with you.
You can unwind and unpack here. Explore the roll top desk stocked with exciting stationery and cards. There's also a well lit, walk-in closet waiting to hold all your stuff.
People like the South Room best because it feels so private and tranquil. The North and South room connect at either end of the same hallway. Between them are the shared bath and the Library.
