You'll love the quiet comfort of the Ellinor Reed Gordon II Library. The east wall is covered with original built-in wooden book shelves with glass doors. There's also a TV/VCR and DVD player for your enjoyment.

3 college students looking for
a good time found it at Fertile Ground.
Such warmth and inspiration

found in the rooms, the garden,
the smells, the stories.
If you're into relaxing, we have lots of great movies and a big TV. We have books organized by topic. Some of them include: Sustainability, the Pacific Northwest, Herbology, Chinese Medicine, Conscioiusness Expansion, Weird Science, Gender Issues, Biographies, Poetry, and of course, Fiction.

The Library is a common room for all guests to enjoy. Besides information sources, it also includes filtered water, a toy box and a coffee pot.

This is Ellinor Reed Gordon II herself. She's a real, living librarian and our patron. Her past donations enabled us to begin the library and her visits to update and organize it have kept it going. Ellinor is a librarian in Douglas County, Oregon and our friend. We're grateful for her help with our collection of video, audio, print and software materials which cover a wide range of topics.
