| Three toilets were constructed on Sunday. We had extension cords coming out every window. When each group finished, they had Anna Edey come and sign their toilets and her inscription was always the same:
We had a blast watching them all come together with individual style and creativity. Anna said it was the first time she taught a workshop where people actually jumped up and started building things. She was thrilled and we were all very inspired by her.

Toilet 1, Made by Jerry Kissell,
Jennifer Preston, Laurine Syverson and Heidi
Toilet 2, Made by Bryan
| This is Bryan, who brought enough supplies, extension cords and experience for everyone to build their own toilet. |
His turned out especially beautiful since he used this lovely tongue and groove pine. The knob opens the lid to the dusty side. |
| Bryan lined his holding bin with a heavy grade plastic so it would stay dry. |
Here he demonstrates how the 5 gallon buckets fits inside so perfectly. |
| Now Bryan makes sure everything will fit just right. He looks pretty satisfied with his creation. |
Anna signed the lid of Bryan's toilet with her motto "Urine Charge, Anna Edey, 2001." Notice it can ride along nicely in Bryan's van. |
Toilet 3, Made by AJ Dondero for us
| Anna talks with AJ Dondero about our composting toilet. They're testing to see if the 5 gallon bucket fits in properly. |
AJ was kind enough to build ours since we were so busy with the other tasks. Thanks AJ! |
| This is Anna's signature you've been hearing about. |
This is Anna, Karen, Gail and AJ, all excited about the new toilet! |
