Wastewater Workshop with Anna Edey
Anna described her Bio Carbon Filter design in a slide show on Friday night. On Saturday, she consultated with all the people who attended, based on their individual settings. They considered such things as soil conditions, slope, and the existence of any previous system.

Dondero introduces Anna Edey
Diane Dondero invited Anna to come to the NW to speak and selected Fertile Ground to be the host site, both for the workshop and for Anna herself. Anna spent most of Saturday morning, patiently and cheerfully answering questions and making recommendations for the participant's individual sites.
Here Anna instructs Amy Greene on the construction of the box we'll build for our bio-carbon filter. Amy worked tirelessly for two days to complete it. This shot shows the setting for the workshop, under the shade of a big English Walnut tree. We were constantly thrilled at how easy it was to accommodate a crowd. Great lunches, too!
