Wastewater Workshop

In August 2001, we hosted a wastewater workshop with trailblazer, Anna Edey. An eager group of 25 people learned as Anna described how she designed and maintained her home, Solviva, in Martha's Vineyard, MA. For over 20 years, Anna has created innovative solutions for living in harmony with nature. What follows is a stage-by-stage story of our workshop with Anna.

But to really understand her systems, you need her book, Solviva; How to Grow $500,000 on One Acre & Peace on Earth. It's about how we can provide electricity, heating, cooling, tranportation, food, solid waste and wastewater management in ways that reduce pollution and depletion of resources by 80% or more, and that at the same time reduce cost of living and improve quality of life.

WE LOVE ANNA EDEY!
